Protest Video of the Day today is by Madtowngirl2 who spared no time or effort documenting getting a voter ID for her son. Conducted on July 18, 2011 at Madison, WI DMV, Madtowngirl2 discovered several interesting things. For instance a person needs to have sufficient (as determined by the clerk) amount of activity on their bank account in order to obtain a Voter ID and a homeless person would need a letter from a shelter to prove residency (using shelter's official letterhead).
As the reality of the new Voter ID law sets we are going to discover many different ways in which it effectively limits people's ability to cast a vote in Wisconsin. This is just the beginning.

Added is the fact that any future address change will result in the need for a NEW VOTER ID. That is to say, when a voter leaves a shelter and moves into, hopefully, their own place; they must go and get ANOTHER ID. Suppression. Nothing but!
ReplyDeleteHi, I am really happy I've found this information. Nowadays bloggers publish just about gossip and internet stuff and this is actually irritating. A good site with exciting content, that's what I need.
