Results of poll conducted by Defend Wisconsin News Round Up at our website show that more than half of the respondents do not trust results of Federal elections and an overwhelming majority do not trust results of State elections. Yet most continue to trust results of local elections.
When asked "Do you trust results of Federal elections?" 17% (23 votes) responded "Yes", 55% (73) responded "No" and 26% (35) responded "Not sure".
When asked "Do you trust results of Wisconsin State elections?" 5% (8) responded "Yes", 80% (113) responded "No" and 13% (19) responded "Not sure".
These findings would lead me to believe that liberally-minded Wisconsin voters, who are the likeliest visitors to Defend Wisconsin News Round Up, would have no trust in the election process in general, yet when asked "Do you trust results of your local elections?" 46% (65) responded "Yes", 32% (46) responded "No" and 20% (29) responded "Not sure".
This is not a scientific poll and its findings should be viewed with that disclosure in mind.
