  1. Budget: Turned down high-speed rail but dedicates $225 million over 2 years for Milwaukee's Zoo Interchange & $195 million between Illinois border and Mitchell Interchange (back to his home stomping ground of Milwaukee)

  2. Budget: pg 31 says "As of January 1, 2011, the number of vacancies at UW-Madison was 494.6 FTE positions. As a result of creating the UW-Madison Authority, these vacancies will be eliminated along with all other state positions." So ANY position that happened to be vacant on that date - - is now GONE
