In the link below you will read how the attorney for Scott Fitzgerald, Senate Majority for WI, has been working with the Troupis Law Firm for quite some time now. Troupis' opinion was sought on the WI Constitution for the resolution to issue arrest warrents for the WI-14. The opinion favoring Fitzgerald's resolution seems like payback for the multi-million dollar contract awarded to Troupis' firm for the redistricting of Wisconsin's legislative districts.

In my opinion, this is just another Republican way to reward their right wing cronies and vice versa. Fitzgerald allows contracts to his friends and the friend rules in Fitzgerald's favor. Just like the head position of the WI State Patrol is now held by Fitzgerald's father, after being recently appointed by Walker.
