Dear Readers,
I love you! I really, really do. I am so very flattered to be receiving some
comments at last. I have a following! Imagine that—my parents would be so proud.
I would like to respond to the three people who took the time to leave very provoking intellectually challenged comments. My goodness, they are raising the bar for conversation here on the blog!
“LOL OMG WTF” left the message, “Did you have a point?” I know who this
reader is! It is my mother-in-law! The initials stand for Living Out Loud, Oy
Mien Gott, Why The F@#$ did my son marry that woman! I just didn’t know she knew the “F” word!
All I can say to her is: “The point is, as usual, found in the first and last
paragraphs—just like you learned in high school English. And, second: “Get out
of my life, you old farbissinah! Hope I didn’t hurt your feelings. Love, your
daughter-in-law, Vivian”
“Huh,” said something incredibly witty and thought provoking, but I couldn’t hear it.
“Anonymous” had some very brave comments to make and I must respond.
Dear, dear Anonymous, I love you! I really, really do! But, I am forced to note that I have never witnessed such a violent slaughtering of the concept of courage. Wow. Unless, of course “Anonymous” is your name? First and last name? What were your parents thinking?
And, Anonymous are you an excellent published writer? Perhaps you write political satire? It is always so, so much easier to criticize, isn’t it--especially anonymously? Or, perhaps you’re a critic? For the New York Times? The New Yorker?OMG(Oy Mein Gott!) it’s not The Atlantic, is it!?! My fav! Thank you for reading!
I’m so flattered! Thank you so very much. I love you. I really, really do.
Your friend,
Vivian
PS My husband asked me to tell everyone that he is not married to me and is moving to another country. Do you think it's...nah...
