Protest Page of the Day: 540,000 To See Scott Walker out of WI, January 2012

One of the most ambitious Facebook pages in its goal, 540,000 To See Scott Walker out of WI, January 2012 aims to do exactly what it say - find 540,000 Wisconsinites who want to see Scott Walker out as Governor as soon as possible, which looks to be no earlier than January of 2012.  How was the number of 540,000 determined?  Scott Walker won his election with 1,128,159 votes in November of 2010.  On January 1st 2012, Scott Walker will be eligible for an election recall, which will need 25% of votes total for that election.  That means that a stunning 540,000 (actually it's 539,681 but who's counting!) people will be needed to sign a petition to enact the recall vote.

At the present time, 540,000.... is far from its ambitious goal and yet is perhaps the most popular anti-Walker Facebook page out there with over 61,000 supporters.  540,000 encourages opposing views and debate in general.  However, personal attacks, false information, "trolling" and other manifestations of anything but calm and rational behavior will not be tolerated and reported to Facebook.

For its ambitious goal, and dedication to making Wisconsin Walker-free A.S.A.P., 540,000 To See Scott Walker out of WI, January 2012 is Defend Wisconsin News Round Up Protest Page of the Day!
